Game Description / What's Inside
PRE-ORDER – IMMEDIATE PAYMENT REQUIRED For more information on pre-ordering, including how to cancel your pre-order, see the Sony Entertainment Network Terms of Service/User Agreement. Auto-download requires Automatic Login and Auto Sign-In to be enabled on your PS5™ system. The “Pay To Lose” Edition allows you to start not just with your reliable six-shooter but with eight more ways to suffer—and 48 extra hours to enjoy them. Guns of Eschaton is a unique soulslike FPS, that pulls you into an apocalyptic Western by the legendary Viktor Antonov: a land of dust, blood, and horror. Study your enemies, count your bullets, forge your own style with gunpowder and prayers. Solo or in co-op—go West, gunslinger, go West and die with the country! The “Pay To Lose” Edition allows you to start not just with your reliable six-shooter but with eight more ways to suffer. The Hounds once aided a rebellion, and like so many things they had a hand in, it ended in a bloodbath. The rebels weren’t legendary marksmen or heroes. They were ordinary men, with ordinary flaws, who took up weapons to protect their town. Very poor weapons. Perhaps that’s why they died. The Hounds kept their weapons as mementos. Now they can be yours. Using them is probably a terrible idea. The “Pay To Lose” item pack embraces the soulslike tradition of seeking challenge for the thrill of overcoming it. Instead of offering advantages, this collection introduces eight equippable items designed to make your runs more demanding. Each item imposes a unique combat handicap, forcing you to adapt your strategy and master new mechanics. Flawed firearms and cursed gear create memorable runs without providing any gameplay advantage. INCLUDED CONTENT - Tough Customer: A stubborn hammer must be forcefully cocked before every shot. - Rabid Animal: An unstable firearm that may discharge unexpectedly. - Lacking Conviction: An unreliable revolver prone to repeated misfires. - Blind Faith: Damaged mechanics obscure your vision with sparks and smoke when firing aimed shots. - Unwelcome Suitor: A cracked barrel pulls recoil to the right. - Grumpy Auntie: Damp ammunition may cause a delayed shot. - The Last Ember: A cursed talisman that punishes mistakes with hellish fire. - Braggart’s Hat: A cool-looking hat that makes everything harder. For players whose git is actually gud. No advantages. No mercy. Just eight more ways to suffer.
